How do I get from the Powder Ridge to Alta? The Powder Ridge properties are the only true Alta ski in/ski out condominiums. From the Powder Ridge driveway, you can ski across a very short cat track to access the Wildcat/Collins base area (please see Aerial Overview video at the bottom – look for “Wildcat Access” on the video – it isn’t marked at the resort area). At the end of the day, you can utilize this same cat track to return or you can ski down an advanced run to your front door.
There are a couple of different ways to get to Snowbird from Powder Ridge. But we have found that the easiest way to do it is to jump on the Alta Resort Shuttle and take it to its last stop, which would be “The View Condominiums.” From there, you can ski down an intermediate access path (“Whodunnit” or “Lodge Access”) to reach the Snowbird Resort Area. At the end of the day, you can reconnect with the Alta Resort shuttle by skiing back down “Whodunnit” to return to Powder Ridge. This shuttle is free within the Alta/Snowbird area and loops the area continuously during day time hours.
